What a brilliant start to Sunday at the Wilmslow Running Festival to take part in the Wilmslow Half Marathon.
The weather could not have been better. Clear blue skies, gentle breeze and cool enough to not be worried about overheating.
This was my first time running this race and course and honestly loved every second of it.
Yes there were some hills, but mostly gentle ones that weren’t too much to be concerned about.
Managed a new race PB too of 2:22:18 – 6 mins faster than the Manchester half last year
